Zafer Yavan

After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Yavan got a master in economics from Manchester Salford University. He attended a post-doctoral certificate program in time series econometrics and large scale econometric modelling at the University of Pennsylvania.

After working for the State Planning Agency between 1986 and 2000, Yavan became the permanent Ankara representative of TUSIAD in 2000. He has been the General Secretary of TUSIAD since 2008.
